Euality between men and women, entails that all human beings, both men and women are free to develop their personal abilities and make choices without the limitation set bu the stereotypes.

It does not mean that men and women have to become the same, but that their rights,responsibilities and oportunities will not depend on whether they are born male or female.

Gender eqality means fairness of traetmen for women and man, according to their respective needs. This may inclide equal treatmen that is different but whis is considered quivalent in terms of rights, benefits, obligations and opportunities.

Gender eqality is seeing males and fames as being of equal status and value. It is judgig a person based on their merit and viewing them as inferior or superior purely basd on their gender.

Unfortunaly the evidence reviewed above suggest this prejudice is still widespread and we often aren’t awere of our onw biases.

We can not say that we have gender equality until this prejudice is overcome and we have eliminated the irrational bias that people have against somebody just becouse they are female.

Equal rights are not egought! Inequality exists in our minds, in our biases and prejudice remains to be fixed!
